Our teachers are some of the very best. We have recruited teachers who believe passionately in the aims of the Clarke Junior School. We know that professional, dedicated, creative and caring teachers are of major importance towards improving all aspects of student learning.
All our staff model a love for inquiry, discovery and learning. They are all willing to go the extra mile to provide our students with the best possible educational environment.
Our school is a learning community for students and staff. We have an extensive professional learning programme to improve and inspire our teachers and school leaders. All Professional Learning for teachers focuses on the aim of improving and increasing learning of our students.
Our
Parents
Parents help their child everyday by supporting and encouraging their children and being excited by their discoveries in learning. Research shows that what parents do at home accounts for a huge amount of their child’s success.
We want to work in partnership with our parents to provide the best possible learning experiences for our students. We do this through regular communication, shared efforts on home learning assignments and regular formal and informal chats. We have an open door policy and we welcome parents to come and chat to us about their child’s learning.
As well as all our teachers regularly being on hand to have conversations around improving your child’s learning, we also hold parent workshops where we can explore and discuss latest research around children’s learning in a fun, practical and relevant way.
